Does SpaceMountain in Disney World have any loops or upside down parts?

I have a massive fear of Roller coasters and just looking at them makes me sick. So my family is dragging me on this ride in a month and I need to know before I go... Help!

Reply:The ride is not worth the wait. I waited over an hr to go on that ride (it didn%26#039;t help that they kept letting butthole w/ that line cutting pass go by, making the line even longer). It was not at all worth the wait. The only good thing about it, was that it was in the dark so you can%26#039;t tell where you%26#039;re going.

But it should be fine if it%26#039;s your 1st roller coaster.
Reply:WHAT?! SPLASH MOUNTAIN is the water ride! Space Mountain is an indoor roller coaster with no loops or upside down parts, but it involes many unexpected sharp turns. It%26#039;s completely in the dark, so it can be a little frightening for small children. But no, there are no loops, and i%26#039;m sure you%26#039;ll love the ride. Check out splash mountain and thunder mountain too while you%26#039;re there.
Reply:Space Mountain in Disney World doesn%26#039;t have any loops (the Space Mountain at the Disney property in Europe does), nor significant drops, nor a very high speed. The only thing it has to make it enjoyable is riding in complete darkness.
Reply:No, nor does it have any signifigant drops. It%26#039;s quite tame.

A step down, even, is the Great Thunder Mountain (in the same park as Space Mountain) and it%26#039;s easily my favorite ride around! ;)

Have fun hon, and don%26#039;t worry. I used to hate coasters too. %26lt;3

And to the guy above: SPLASH mountain is a water ride, not space. Space has no drops.
Reply:Space Mountain has no loops and no upside down parts. This is for you to know when you get in there two rides the left has more curves and the right has more drops. The first time I rode it was when I had 8 years. Is a short ride.
Reply:there are no loops or upside down parts. the drops are very small and all it really is is a ride that is fast paced and partially in the dark. i don%26#039;t recommend puttiing your hands up in the air because it is so fast and there are lower beams so if you put your hands up..you may not see them again. lol. j/k but don%26#039;t get scared. i just started riding roller coasters last year because i had a major fear of them too. i rode this last summer as one of my first roller coasters and it was great. it%26#039;s a great starter coaster for anyone with a fear. remember: small drops, fast paced, and NO loops or upside down parts at all.
Reply:Yeah, the first person was mistaken. They%26#039;re thinking of Splash Mountain. Space Mountain really isn%26#039;t as bad as you%26#039;d imagine. It doesn%26#039;t even reach speeds of 30 mph. And as others have mentioned, there are no loops, corkscrews, and any times when you go upside down. THE RIDE WILL SEEM WORSE THAN IT IS IF YOU DON%26#039;T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. Space Mountain is an indoor roller coaster, and it takes place in the dark. There are a few small hills and they seem worse than they are because you don%26#039;t see them coming. It feels like a tiny drop, but it%26#039;s so much fun. I%26#039;m quite fearful of roller coasters, too, but this one really isn%26#039;t bad at all. I would suggest riding Big Thunder Mountain Railroad first (also at the Magic Kingdom Park). It%26#039;s similar Space Mountain except it%26#039;s outside, so you can see any small hills and sharp turns coming. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is awesome! And if you can handle that you can likely handle Space Mountain (just think of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the dark).

Hope I could help! Have fun!
Reply:Actually no it saysit does but it doesent im 11 and i went 2 years ago and picked that ride as my absolute favorite RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:space mountain is indoor rollarcoster. it doesnt go upside down or no major drops my mother who is also afraid of loops an drops an she goes on with no problem i think the biggest drop is 5 feet or so nothing to bad even if you do not feel like going on the ride walk with your family down to the location an back out at the end the walk way is really nice an you see all these orbits an what not plus you are in total darkness
Reply:no.

it%26#039;s a great ride and all.

the cool thing sbout it it is totally dark. so u dont know whats coming up next. A useful tip. get speedpasses before u go. the ride is very popular and witing times can be froman hour to two. Always get speedpasses at any park, there free
Reply:Hey, no there aren%26#039;t any loops on that ride. Its a really fun ride though. There are alot of sharp turns and you don%26#039;t see anything because it is completly dark.. As if your in space! Fun ride!
Reply:space mountain is a water ride so you sit in a log then it has deep drops but it doesn%26#039;t have any loops or upside down parts so don%26#039;t worry. the ride is a little bit long and so is the wait.
